PHOTOGRAPHY & WATERCOLORS
I took this photo at the heart of the old town Helsinki. It was 12:00 noon and this woman was eating her sandwich, reading the paper and sitting by the old fountain of an intersection.
The historic City Hall courtyard. The woman is climbing up the entrance porch of the old city hall.
Temppeliaukio Church.
One of the prettiest modern churches in Helsinki. The Tempelliaukio Church. It was carved out of a rocky hill in the center of Helsinki.
This detail was taken inside the church.
Taken at Helsinki Port, a motorized(?)(:P)viking boat!
An example of how narrow the streets are. The ever present grafittis of modern age is evident on the walls.
A view of one of many articulated copper turrets of the old buildings.
The streets are narrow so are the sidewalks but it is usually blocked as it is being used as an outside dining for small coffee shops.
