Almost above the interior court is a high ceiling with a skylight. The lower wood beams and girders are used to display the mask the town uses during it's town fiesta.

The eclectic architectural design of the Balaw-Balaw Restaurant stands out from its neighborhood. Balaw-Balaw is a restaurant owned by a fine art painter and sculptor. So aside from the restaurant on the ground floor, it also have an art exhibit areas  on the ground, second floor and the mezzanine level.
A closer look at the main entrance at the right side. The third floor on the right is part of the artist residence.
This shrimp dish is cooked with vegetables and coconut milk. It is served over banana leaves.
Broiled Mahi-Mahi fish.
This dish is like the Ilocos region's "Pinakbet". It is a mix of vegetables with pork, shrimp paste but cooked with heavy mix of coconut milk. It is served over banana leaves.
At the middle of the first floor dining room is an open courtyard with a garden and two nude women sculptures taking a bath from the man-made springs.
