This picture was taken as we board the boat on our way to the subterranean river national park. Palawan's subterranean river is a World Heritage Site and features an 8.2 kilometers of navigable under ground river. It is reputed to be the world's longest and opens up to South China Sea. Sabang Bay is approximately 80 miles from the City of Puerto Princesa, the capital city of Palawan, Philippines. It was a beautiful day but windy and very choppy waters. The boat has bamboo outriggers on one side and is powered by an inboard motor. While in the boat I protected my D100 from the splashing salt water waves. I used the Nikon Coolpix 5700 while riding the boat. The pictures turned out bad because of the rough sea.
